This week we have some ‘good to know’ articles that relate to marketing including some changes for one specific email provider, and some info on BIMI and making sure your DNS records are set up correctly for sending emails. A change from Microsoft Clarity regarding cookies (so pay attention if you are using it), and info on formatting event speakers if you are sending out emails using Event Management in Customer Insights – Journeys.
As always, if you spot anything you think would be worth a mention, just let me know by sending a message via the online contact form using the navigation link above. Always good to know of others posting about D365 Marketing or if you see anything else other marketers should know about.
Now let’s get on with the newsletter!

Change Order Of Event Speakers On Invitation Emails In Customer Insights Journeys
Megan V. Walker
If you have used the Event Management functionality in Customer Insights – Journeys, you may have also set up sessions. Sessions can also be linked to Speakers, creating Speaker Engagement records showing which Speaker is presenting on which Session. This information can then be displayed on your Invitation emails, thank you for registering and reminder emails as part of Event Journeys. Awesome! But you could run in to challenges in terms of what actually gets shown on those emails. In this post we will walk through how you can make sure your Speakers only show once in the list, and show in an order you determine.

Changes to HTTP or Teams Webhook trigger flows
Microsoft
Although this isn’t technically to do with Customer Insights – Journeys, if you have any triggers that are started by pressing a button, this is one to review. Starting in August 2025, Power Automate flows with HTTP triggers or Teams Webhook triggers that have logic.azure.com
in the URL will move to a new URL. You’ll see the new URL in the HTTP URL field of the flow’s trigger when you open the flow in the designer. To ensure that existing flows using these triggers continue to work, complete the following actions by November 30, 2025. After this date, the old URLs will no longer work and flows will fail to trigger.

Extending Copilot in Dynamics 365 Sales to Trigger Customer Insights Journeys
Emanuel Caraza - Microsoft
This was posted back in June but I only just noticed it, and if you like Copilot and use it with Sales, this might be of interest. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Copilot, when extended thoughtfully, becomes a powerful bridge between human intent and AI-powered orchestration. This blog explores how to enhance Copilot in Sales to trigger Customer Insights Journeys (CI-J) in real time based on sales context, enabling business users to drive automated engagement with minimal friction.

Consent Management and Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft
Microsoft is rolling out updates to the way it handles cookie consent in Microsoft Clarity for specific regions. If your site receives traffic from these regions, ensure that valid consent is passed to Clarity. These updates are critical for protecting user privacy, enhancing transparency, and ensuring that data is processed in accordance with legal requirements. It is important to note that this update does not introduce new consent requirements but rather emphasizes the need for existing consent mechanisms to be properly implemented and for signals to be accurately passed to Clarity.

Ana Gotter - Martech
Email remains one of the highest-performing marketing channels, but inbox competition is intense. More than 340 billion emails are sent every day, and customer expectations are higher than ever. You need secure, relevant email marketing campaigns that build trust and earn engagement, reaching the right people at the right time. In this guide from Ana Gotter, take a look at how to future-proof your email marketing strategy using Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI), Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP), and AI personalization to stay competitive now and in the future.

Laposte.net tightens its requirements for email authentication
Yves-Marie Le Pors-Chauvel
This information may not seem like it relates to you if you aren’t in France, but not the case. On Friday, August 22, in a message shared by Simon Bressier, Postmaster of Laposte.net, the mail provider announced a major shift in its deliverability and anti-spam policy starting in September 2025. The French webmail confirmed that email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC) will no longer be optional. This means, any emails you send without proper SPF, DKIM, and DMARC setup will likely get rejected or sent to spam if you send to any emails with the laposte.net domain. It’s a good idea to check and verify your DNS records for email regardless, but this change could mean changes from other mail providers.
