What Happens When You Delete Segment Execution Records (msdymkt_segmentexecution)
Megan V. Walker
First off, this post is not about saying you SHOULD delete records, but more about information for you as a user of Customer Insights – Journeys, or your environment administrator so you can understand what the records in the msdymkt_segmentexecution table are for. Also what happens if you DID delete them. I stumbled down this road because I had a lovely email from Microsoft saying I was over storage capacity. This table was the highest consumption for data, by a significant amount, so I started digging in. This post explains what it is used for and what happens if you delete the records.
Fun things with Custom Pages
Megan V. Walker
Although my latest blog series isn’t strictly Customer Insights – Journeys. the image below shows an example of the kind of things you can create with Custom pages. It’s a consent overview at an Account level to see all Contacts that are opted in or opted out or have no consent at all. Custom Pages bring the flexibility of Canvas Apps into Model-driven Apps. Use them to design full pages, dialogs, or side panes with the same Power Apps Studio experience, low-code, expressive, and completely customizable with Power Fx and PCF controls. So maybe it’s worth taking a look at, and yes at some point I will do a post to show you can create your own Consent Overview from an Account record.

Gen Z’s switch to trusting creators reshapes consumer martech
MarketingTech - Joe Green
A post from Joe Green on the MarketingTech news website. Recent industry research shows a change in how Generation Z discovers and purchases technology products. So how should brand owners adapt marketing, operations, and measurement methods when trust has moved from institutional branding to individual creators and community?
