Hi lovely reader!

This week we have a couple of new items with regards to the September release of Customer Insights – Journeys, and a little blog from myself all about hiding Outbound marketing (when the time is right).

As always, if you spot anything you think would be worth a mention, just let me know by sending a message via the online contact form using the navigation link above. Always good to know of others posting about D365 Marketing or if you see anything else other marketers should know about.

Now let’s get on with the newsletter!

D365 Marketing

The following relate to news and articles about Dynamics 365 Marketing

September 2024 update

The release for September is here, with one item now generally available to use, three in public preview, and two monthly enhancements. Lots to check out, so make sure you get that release installed if you want to check out things early!

PREVIEW: Form prefill in Customer Insights - Journeys

The form prefill feature enhances customer experience by automatically filling in form fields with known values for existing customers. This feature is available for both marketing and event registration forms. This has long existed in Outbound Marketing, and is finally here in preview for Realtime. Hooray!

What Happens When You Hide Outbound Marketing?

If you are using Customer Insights – Journeys and did so before it became Realtime Marketing only (prior to September 2023), Outbound Marketing is still a thing for you. However, as you SHOULD know, Microsoft have announced that June 2025 is when it will truly go away for good. Hopefully you’ve already started making that transition. Once you are through the woods and using Realtime Marketing ONLY, it’s time to get Outbound hidden and make sure none of your users are going back to old habits. Take a look at how simple it is, and get a list of all the items that will no longer be there in the navigation for you.
