Hi lovely reader!

A very short one this week BUT if you haven’t already, make sure you register for the webinar with Amey Holden and I with the first one coming up at 9 PM Wednesday UK time, and the second on Thursday 10 AM UK time. We will cover the short March release, and all of the stuff coming for Wave 1 2026.

As always, if you spot anything you think would be worth a mention, just let me know by sending a message via the online contact form using the navigation link above. Always good to know of others posting about D365 Marketing or if you see anything else other marketers should know about.

March 2026 Update

This is a very very small update, and perhaps unexpected as we have the Wave 1 2026 announcement this week also. But a couple of things are included so go check it out! Amey Holden and I will talk through this on our Wave 1 webinar coming up over the next few days. Be sure to register from the link in the Events section below!

March 2026 Update

Change the appearance of Marketing and Event forms using URL parameters in Customer Insights - Journeys

A great one from Amey! This post will show you how to change the appearance of a Customer Insights – Journeys form based on URL parameters. This is really helpful for when you want to (or have to) use the same form for different personas, brands or behaviours. This is most useful as a way to work around the limitation of one form per event for taking registrations.

Guide Users in Customer Insights - Journeys with Custom Help Panes

Have you ever heard of or used Custom Help Panes in D365? They  allow you to add context-sensitive help content inside model-driven apps. (In case you were wondering, Customer Insights – Journeys is based in a model-driven app). So, instead of making a documentation about all the steps the marketers have to do to create an email, or a journey, you can just directly add a help pane to the Journey or the Email! This is a great idea from Martin, and could really help new users, or experienced users but in areas they don’t use much and can forget all the steps needed.

Wave 1 2026 Customer Insights Journey Chat

🚀Join us, Amey & Megan, as we delve in to what is headed our way for the release. 💡This will be offered twice on the same day to accommodate as many time zones as possible! 📆 Wednesday March 18th, 2026 and Thursday March 19th, 2026.  NOTE: The two sessions will be the same content. No need to attend both. The release notes for Dynamics 365 Wave 1 2026 are coming soon so that means more things on the way for Customer Insights – Journeys!. We will talk through what each of us thinks of the new proposed features from Microsoft and share ideas with each other that we hadn’t necessarily thought of! This will be a LIVE webinar, with the opportunity to chat with others during the event.
