Outbound Segments Used In Real-time Journeys Notification

If you are using Customer Insights – Journeys and have used it in the D365 Marketing days, you MUST be aware that come June 2025, Outbound Marketing will cease to exist. This means no more Outbound Emails, Outbound Journeys and most important, no more Outbound Segments. This is particularly significant because you can currently access your Outbound Segments in Real-time AND can using them in a Real-time Journey. It’s easy to see that you could relax and forget about them. In an effort to help those that are not sure what Journeys might be using Outbound Segments, or you want to know if any of your users create or are using Outbound Segments in Real-time, this post will show you how you can create an email notification to let you know about them!

How To Import Contact Point Consent Records

One of the most important things when it comes to Realtime Marketing in Customer Insights – Journeys is knowing that Contact Point Consent (CPC) records are what keep you compliant, making sure you aren’t emailing people who have already unsubscribed. If you have only ever used the marketing app in D365 for this, then you are likely OK as anyone who has clicked on your Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any emails will have then had a CPC record either created or updated. What if you’re moving from another platform that already has a list of people on a suppression list who’ve previously unsubscribed? This post is for you as it will walk through how to import contact point consent records as data from your suppression list and get those CPC records added to Realtime.

Working with Multiple Physical Addresses in Compliance Profiles

A great one from Renée where she looks at how to handle more than one addresses that you would consider linked to your organisation and how to handle that via your Compliance Profiles, Brand Profile, or Content Blocks. Some really great ideas and suggestions here.

The Rise of DMARC Adoption: Google and Yahoo’s Mandate

A great article from Dmarcian that reviews the landscape a year on from Google and Yahoo announcing that bulk senders must have DMARC and other sender best practices in place from February 2024 onwards. What impact has that had on the email ecosystem?
