The following relate to news and articles about Dynamics 365 Marketing
Add the Contact Point Preferences control for Dynamics 365 Marketing to Contact forms
Thanks to Amey for writing about the Contact Point Preferences control! Real-time marketing captures consent as ‘Contact Points’, so each contact detail you have such as an email address, or a phone number; has its own consent of Opted In or Opted Out. If there are duplicate contacts or leads with the same email address there will still be only one contact point consent for the email address. This article shows how to add it to your custom forms for Contacts.
Copilot in Dynamics 365 Marketing revolutionizes marketing with query assist and content ideas
MICROSOFT - JIM NAKASHIMA
Nice article by Jim Nakashima, Partner General Manager at Microsoft and all round great guy! Jim digs in to using Copilot and how it’s helping add additional and revolutionary features in D365 Marketing. Take a look to find out more about features like content ideas and query assist in the marketing app.

This one looks interesting! A 1 day online training course all about AI covering ChatGPT and how you can incorporate the latest technology to support your business. There is PLENTY of time to plan and prepare to attend this event. It’s 13th and 14th October at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre (in-between London and Southampton). There are a ton of workshops on the Friday you can sign up for (these have a minimal cost) then the full day of sessions on the Saturday (free). This will be an awesome event to attend!

Google Analytics 4 - the time is now!
Well, the time was months ago… but if you have not already sorted out Google Analytics 4, it’s going to happen on Saturday regardless. July 1st is the date Google gave as when data will no longer be processed under Universal Analytics. So, if these is all news to you, good luck! 😊
Looker Studio - Create Reports From Google Analytics Data
Way back in 2020, I did a series of blogs on Google Analytics. One of them was all about Looker Studio, another free tool from Google. Not sure about you, but I am NOT loving GA4 but using Looker Studio I can still manage to make some nice looking reports. Check out my blog for a step by step guide (should still be up to date enough to follow) or click the button below to go right to Looker Studio.
Satya Nadella’s Intelligence Is Not Artificial
FREAKONOMICS RADIO - STEPHEN DUBNER
I’ve listened to this podcast for a while, and have also read the book by the same name. Was very happy to find this episode waiting for me to listen to over the weekend on a walk. I could honestly listen to Satya speak on pretty much any topic, but Artificial Intelligence is all over the place right now. Interesting to hear his views during a well balanced and interesting conversation with host Stephen Dubner.
Connected CX: The new competitive edge
I found an eBook from Microsoft all about connected customer experiences. It looks at connecting sales, service and marketing functions so all employees can understand the ever-changing customer preferences and how to help engage customers where and when they prefer with reliable, engaging experiences.
SEARCH ENGINGE JOURNAL - ALEX MACURA
This post might be helpful to look through in terms of your strategies for social media marketing and taking one or two courses. The article has 17 courses, with quite a few of them being free. Free is always great to get your manager to agree to you taking it and increasing your skill set. There is also a list of certifications you can take! Happy learning!
