So, what’s it all about? I write about Dynamics 365 Marketing regularly on my website. However, so do many of my fellow contributors to the community and there is some fantastic content out there. There are also a ton of things going on outside of the D365 Marketing world that I think are important and useful to know about that relate to marketing and can provide value to a marketers day. I love reading the Power Platform Weekly and the Power Platform Dev Weekly newsletters, so thought this might be a good format for people interested specifically in Marketing. Here we go!

What's new in Dynamics 365 Marketing
The March 2023 update was released and can be installed in your D365 Marketing environments. Lots of great features including 6 items made generally available, and 7 items now in public preview.
Table Customisation Of Real-time Marketing Journeys
One of the items from the March update was the ability to customise the Journey table, meaning adding lookup fields to things like the Campaign table are now possible. Check out one of my recent posts to find out how you can do this.
UTM Parameters Tracking In D365 Marketing
This feature is MASSIVE and definitely long awaited by so many marketers. Having the ability to have UTM Parameters added automatically to links in your emails and SMS communication is huge. If you’ve not already seen this, take a look!
Customer Experience User Group
If you have not already joined this awesome user group, I suggest checking it out now. The group focuses on all things CXP which includes D365 Marketing and a whole host of other related products. They host monthly webinars AND are hosting Marketing Days all about learning and sharing with others.

Microsoft Designer
This one is SOOO cool and I can’t wait for more people to find out about it. Microsoft Designer currently has a waitlist to join, but once you get access, I think it will be worth it. It uses AI to automatically generate images and social media content to use as part of your marketing efforts. Take a look!
Google Analytics Switch Coming
If you haven’t done it already, know that the change coming from Google to stop processing your website traffic data using standard Universal Analytics is coming quickly! Take action before July 1st so you have time to review and understand how it works.
